Firewall Object - Database Maintenance

Firewall Sessions - Database Tables

When traffic reporting support has been installed and enabled on the traffic control server, the user can establish separate database maintenance parameters for each of the reporting IP Objects.

The Firewall Object's Database Table and maintenance dialog is described below.

Firewall Object database maintenance scheduling dialog

Retention Days

This section lists each of the traffic component that the Object reports to the SQL database.  For each traffic component there is a specification of the number of days this data will be retained in the database.  Items aged beyond the posted value will be purged from the database at the time specified by the server's maintenance schedule.

If the user wishes to modify the number of days to retain component data, they modify the Retention (Days) field and save the modification by clicking on the <Update Retention> button.
