Traffic Limiter Object - Overview |
The Traffic Limiter Object is used to selectively regulate the flow of traffic, both outbound and inbound, for a variety of network sessions.
This regulation can be specified by User, Group, Protocol, internal and external IP Addresses, communication ports and specific applications as well as Internet browser traffic related to select Content categories.
Bandwidth utilization is regulated on the outbound packets of the specified sessions only and all effected packets will NOT exceed the bandwidth specifications within the rules regardless of the capacity or capability of the network.
